CLOTILDE

COSTANZA TURCHI AND SILVIA BARTOLINI

Clotilde was born in Prato, the city of yarns and “cenciaioli” (rag-and-bone men). Starting with tradition to rebuild, restore, and renew. Understanding the rules to overturn them, getting to know the materials until they become something familiar, and looking for the stories behind the fabrics to come to weave one’s narrative. A new idea of wearability meets the art of Bruno Munari: this is how Trasformabiti (Transformable clothes) was born. The permanent collection in which nothing is what it seems. Geometric abstractionism dominates our seasonal collections: the keyword is, in fact, experimentation.
